Window Cleaning Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have a subscription plan for regular residential window cleaning?
We absolutely do. We recommend a minimum of a yearly window cleaning, but for best window performance and cleanliness, the ideal for you is our semi-annual of quarterly window cleaning plans. These plans assure that you have clean windows as the seasons change, allowing your home to shine from the outside, and for you to view the worlds beauty through clean windows. Click here to see what those plans include.
Does a professional window cleaning include the outside and the inside or my windows?
Depending on the window cleaning professional, they will either price separately the outside, inside, and whatever other services… or they will bundle all of the cleaning together.
No matter what they quote, this is usually a word game, and you will pay for the time, materials, and labor of cleaning.
That’s why we price our services like we do. We prefer to see our purchases clearly line item detailed, so we know what value we are getting for our money. With Creekside Window Cleaning, you’ll know what you are getting.
How often do I need to clean my residential windows?
We have clients who are annual customers. This works for them, and is the ‘least’ you can do for your windows. However, most of our customers are signed up for either our semi-annual or quarterly window cleaning subscription plans. These plans assure that you have clean windows as the seasons change.
Does it matter what the weather is like for window cleaning?
We operate Creekside Window Cleaning all year long. No matter the weather, in snowy and cold or hot and sunny weather. We even clean on rainy days if there is not super strong wind, for our safety reasons.
What are window cleaning prices for professional window cleaning services?
Prices vary from location to location, by window size and type. Most window cleaners will price by window pane surface, meaning that the inside and outside of a window are priced separately.
Other variables include how long it has been since your last window cleaning. The longer between window cleanings, the most difficult to achieve a clean surface area.
Specialty or difficult to reach window can also be up-charged.
Home-owners who buy our window cleaning subscription service are guaranteed a lower window cleaning price because we know your windows have been professionally cleaned, and our next window cleaning will be easier. We also do not need to count your windows and create an estimate each time we come. These create time savings for us, and money savings for you. Not to mention a happier, cleaner environment for you.

Why you should regularly clean your windows.
There are several reasons to keep your windows clean:
1) The View: A clean window really is a great first stop to having a great day. It lets the sun in, and allows an undisturbed view of the worlds outside beauty. Looking through a dirty window subconsciously creates a feeling of a cluttered, disorganized and dirty environment. Start the day out right with a clean view.
2) Image: We all clean and vacuum our homes, we mow our lawns, we do the dishes, among many other home cleaning and organzing tasks. Why? To be clean, to not look like messy disorganized people to friends, family, and neighbors, and to feel good. Have you considered clean windows? A Clean window creates that sparkle and shine that moves your clean house into another dimension of clean.
3) Glass Degradation: Scientifically, not maintaining the surface of your glass windows will actually leads to glass degradation. The surface of glass is actually porous, and permits contamination and dirt to gather, most notably in the winter time. This occurs in the form of hard minerals, oxidization, acid rain, salt, over spray (from painting, spraying for insects, etc). This all accumulates, and over time leads to the degrading, weakening of your windows, which leads to more money being spent replacing your windows in the long term. Cleaning your windows prolongs a windows life, and is a wise investment in the longevity of your home.
4) Heating Efficiency: It may seem a small thing, but that build-up of dirt, hard water deposits, and scum on your outside window actually disturbs the transmission of UV light through your window. Have you ever sat under a window in winter time, basking in the warmth of the sun? You’d be amazed the difference a clean window can make in allowing the transmission of this heat. Keep those windows clean!!
Are window cleaning soaps and products safe for my family and the environment?
We use dish soap. Did you know its used to clean oil spills, and to get the oil off of affected animals? We think its pretty safe!

No. We’ll only leave behind your clean and spotless windows. We’ll discard of any old screen materials and waste we produce.
